ACQ Training

This one-day course introduces acquisition managers and practitioners, appraisal team members, and process group (e.g., SEPG, EPG) members to the fundamental CMMI concepts related to acquisition. CMMI for Acquisition (CMMI-ACQ) is a CMMI model designed for use in managing a supply chain by those who acquire, procure, or otherwise select and purchase products and services for business purposes.

This CMMI model focuses on acquirer processes and contains best practices that address activities for initiating and managing the acquisition of products and services that meet the needs of the customer. Types of acquisitions that benefit from using CMMI-ACQ include government acquisition, supply chain management, procurement, and outsourcing.

The course is composed of lectures and class exercises with ample opportunity for student questions and discussions. After attending the course, students will be able to describe the CMMI-ACQ model, discuss the model's process areas, and locate relevant information in the model.

DEV Training

This three-day course introduces managers and practitioners, appraisal team members, and process improvement teams to fundamental concepts of the CMMI. The CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) model is a tool that helps organisations to improve their ability to develop and maintain quality products and services. The course is composed of lectures and class exercises, with ample opportunity for participant questions and discussions.
After attending the course, participants will be able to describe the components of the CMMI-DEV model and their relationships, as well as the process areas in the CMMI-DEV model, and locate relevant information in the model.

SVC Training

The CMMI for Services (CMMI-SVC) model defines effective practices that ensure quality services are delivered to customers and end users. Some types of services that would benefit from using CMMI-SVC include operations, logistics, maintenance, IT, and many other services in government and industry. The course is composed of lectures and class exercises with ample opportunity for participant questions and discussions. After attending the course, participants will be able to describe the CMMI-SVC model, discuss the model's process areas, and locate relevant information in the model.
This course, combined with the Introduction to CMMI for Development, fulfills the prerequisite for any course or role requiring an official introductory CMMI for Services course. It is designed for professionals who have already taken Introduction to CMMI for Development. The three-day Introduction to CMMI for Services is recommended for those who have not taken an introductory course yet.
